New D30 Raw Conversion Tool

Has anyone else here tried converting RAW D30 files with a free program called Power Shovel II? It converts RAW files without using Canonís SDK protocol. I discovered it posted on the DPReview/Canon Talk site.

I have been playing with it and have been getting mixed results. For portraits and photos without bright areas, it gives wonderful results with better skin tones, deeper colors and better control of highlight areas such as cheeks and foreheads, but tends to give vivid false colors to bright areas such as white walls and skyís.

Iíve compared it to Breezebrowser, YarcPlus, Bibble and native Canon SDK and in many cases it gives improved results, depending on the subject. Itís a very basic conversion tool but I think it has a lot of promise.
