What is currently available for Mac Platforms?

Being a Canon 1D user and Mac platform, our list of raw image convertors is very limited.

What is available out there, and how soon will we see the Adobe raw image convertor plugin?

Yes, the Mac is currently an issue. But Phase One announced a Mac version for March and I hope the Adobe RAW converter will be out soon.

Looks like 2003 will be great year for RAW conversion.

I'm not sure (since I use Nikon) but I believe that good ol' GraphicConverter (click here) converts Canon Raw files. I can't tell if it gives you any sort of control over the file however (free trial though).

Why not use Canon's free File Viewer Utility? (google the name to find the download page from Canon -- I don't have it offhand) It is OS X native and has native support for the 1D and 1Ds among other models.

Toshi, the Canon file viewer utility is what we are stuck with and what we are all complaining about -- especially the 1DS owners.
