Nikon: DX Lenses

Introduction

Lenses bearing this designation have been designed specifically for Nikon's current line of digital SLRs. As these cameras use a 25x15.5mm sensor these lenses can project a smaller image circle than lenses designed for traditional 36x24mm film. While these lenses will mount on full-frame cameras, there may be significant vignetting at certain focal lengths.

• 10.5mm f/2.8G ED AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor¹, first full-frame, 180° fisheye lens designed for a DX-C sensor. This lens is about equivalent to the 16mm Fisheye-Nikkor on a 35mm camera.
