Epson 2400, never ending problem of feeding

Sheets are just going through without printing. I did a few rounds with cleaning sheet no help. And now, even the cleaning sheet wont go through at all. any tips? thanks.

Had similiar issues with mine,its a real pain, been doing it since I bought it
new. also makes me tear my hair out doing panoramic roll prints it takes
several attempts to get it to feed properly, I was giving it a head clean
today and its decided that the waste ink pads are full and needs a service
this is due to the paper jamming when I left it printing a 3ft long panoramic the other week, the paper jammed but the printer didnt stop
printing and spewed ink out for about an hour before I seen what it
was doing. Dont think I will be buying another epson printer....

It's 2008, we've got the Hubble, we've got the CERN Large Hadron Collider, we've got fantastically homely, full-frame 25 megapixel DSLRs, but we still don't have a consistent and reliable solution for picking one piece of paper off a stack and feeding it through a printer.

It has always been my suspicion that "cleaning sheets" and "roller cleaning fluid" are just placebos.

I haven't had any problem with my R2400 after about three years, but I have to say I likely do not fully exercise its capabilities as Kevin and Lenny may do. I've so far not used roll media, or anything but Epson Matte and Glossy papers. I've been thinking about trying some Fine Art papers, and the heads up is good to know.
