Need a good printer to outsource to.

I do my own printing using a 4800 but sometimes I need something larger than I can print. I would be interested to know who yall have used for doing inkjet (giclee) printing that you thought did a very good job.

Right now I am needing a 24x36" canvas.

Thanks

Color, black & white, or both?

There are many places out there. What kind of printer are you looking for? Inkjet? There is where you will find the best prices and the same as what you are used to. Check out the link below.

Re: Need a good printer to outsource to.

Thanks for the feedback yall and sorry to take so long to get back to my own post.

I did not see where Millers offers any inkjet printing though I could have missed it.

Looks like booksmart would run about 100.00 for the print plus shipping then I need to have it framed after I get it.

Looks like WHCC would run 190.50 printed, coated and on a stretcher frame and 210.50 printed, coated and framed as a gallery wrap. Both would also need to have shipping added.

Has anyone used either place to have inkjet prints done?

Re: Need a good printer to outsource to.

I'm not too far from you if I have your location correct. I have a 9600 and 9800.. mostly for printing my own work but I do a little printing for other photographers also. If you're used to printing on a 4800, I could give you a predictable print for very close to the prices you're quoting from WHCC (just slightly less actually). I print on Epson's Water Resistant Premier Art canvas and coat all prints with Giclee varnish. Contact me if you ever happen to get towards the Waco area and want to see some samples.
