| Stickers We're looking for a cost effective way to produce stickers.
The traditional way would be to print ordinary photos and attach manually the adhesive to it and make the cutting lines. This is fine for quality but manual work as such.
We have tried e.g. Hi-Ti thermal transfer printer with 4/2/4 sticker sheets. The stickers as such as fine but the print quality (colours...) aren't comparable with photos and the mechanical quality of the devices is fine for home but not so fine for commercial use, especially with stickers that get stuck inside the device. They work better with photo paper.
Ink jet printers have advanced quite a bit but I don't know if any would offer printing at reasonable prices and would work for batches of several hundred sheets in one go.
Primera has a few color label printers that look interesting but the sample stickers we got don't have the photo quality we're looking for. Otherwise, the stickers and mechanics look quite fine. In our case both sticker sheets (with multiple individual stickers) and sticker rolls are fine.
What other options are there and what are you using?
