Are the paper guides gripping the paper too hard? My first R2400 had a fault which meant that I basically had to have the left (adjustable) guide set to have a 2mm gap to the paper for it to work properly. My 2nd R2400 is fine though.

Which media feeder are you using? What kind of paper is it? Is it an old printer? Do you use much matte / cotton papers in it? Does it work when you feed it manually?

If you are using the Enhanced Matte Media type it should work fine. It could be something you would want to contact Epson directly, it is still under warranty and they should fix it for free. Good luck
