Re: Luminous-Landscape Tutorials

I purchased the Camera to Print and Lightroom tutorials. I saw the entire LR piece, the first few chapters of the newer Camera to Print. I'm biased, I know both Jeff and Michael but I think these are the best bang for the buck tutorials anywhere.

Re: Luminous-Landscape Tutorials

I purchased the Lightroom tutorial. It's a bit long-winded, but very comprehensive and informative. Well worth the purchase price. One day I'll even have time to watch the whole thing.

Re: Luminous-Landscape Tutorials

Thank you all for some most helpful comments and suggestions! It is espescially helpful to know (though not a surprise) that LL tutorials in general are first rate.

I have just purchased Lightroom in an attempt to cut down on the time required in post processing and my next task is to get a better understanding of how that program works. It seems LL has a very good tutorial for that software also.

Re: Luminous-Landscape Tutorials

Bill, also check out the free adobe LR podcast through iTunes. Not as comprehensive as LL, but quite good for the basics and free. I can't really recommend a good LR book - Martin Evening's book is not as good as his PS book, and the other one I've found is only a tips and techniques book.

Re: Luminous-Landscape Tutorials

One good LR source is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Killer Tips for free videos and tips.

Other good sources are Inside Lightroom and onOne Software - PhotoPresets with One-Click WOW! for Develop Presets.
