Epson Stylus pro 3800

Hi,

I'm planning on getting this printer. Any comments?

I mainly print on matte papers, specially Moab Entrada, and do color and B&W.

Thanks,
Raul

Hello Raul,

I think that you will be highly pleased with this versatile printer and its excellent output. May I suggest that you refer to Eric Chan's comprehensive site devoted to this printer, although you probably have already.

While the profile that can be downloaded from the Moab site is usable, it may be worthwhile to do your own.

I have it an love it, although I only use it for very limited photo reproduction. Although, I have to say, I print photos on it for the DVD albums (8.5x11) and the client thinks they turn out great.

Re: Epson Stylus pro 3800

I already got the printer. The print quality is good but I am getting sort of a faint square pattern on skies. Could it be banding? How can I fix this?
I have cleaned the nozzles and aligned the head but the pattern is still there.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Raul.
