It may be your profile not reproducing gradients in the colors accurately. What rendering intent are you using? Is your profile custom? There are many profiling services but some use superior devices. Some better ones to look for are Spectrolino / Spectroscan, or the i1iSis XL. Gradients and black and white images is where you may see differences in color and profiles. There is more info on our site.
