Whatever happened to the Kodak 1400?

Any of you hardened dye subbers used the Kodak 1400 yet? I see it advertised everywhere, but nobody has one.

How does it compare to the 8500? Is it the same, but with larger prints, or better?

Not that it makes any difference, but the 8500 always looked nice on the desk, whereas the 1400 appears as though it is a little ugly - still I guess a bag will sort that out!

I'm curious about the 6800 too, but sadly that is for PC only, which would put a stop on that purchanse immediately.

They were alive and printing on the Kodak stand at Focus yesterday. Try ringing photomart.co.uk - 0208 523 4209, they have listed them in their latest catalogue - £312.80 +VAT
