Re: Kodak 8660 and OSX problems

Rodney:

Just to close the loop with you: while I know the drivers and their features and how color management works, Bob Collette is certainly the expert on how to get the best looking images from your printer (using color management or otherwise). Now that he's back from vacation and is answering questions, you're in good hands! :-)

Gene,

I just emailed you the document. How do you have your printer connected (SCSI or EtherTalk)? Also, what OS are you running? 10.3 has a problem with SCSI, so if that's what you're using, that may be why you can't see the printer. I'm running 10.2.6 connecting via EtherTalk.

Bob

Gene:

If you're using 10.3 you won't be able to see the printer on SCSI using the current beta version of the driver. We are working on a fix and hope to have it available early December.

Whoops! I sent my previous reply about 10.3 before I read your note that you're using 10.2.8. We have had one or two reports that people using 10.2.8 have experienced the same SCSI problem. The 10.3 compatible driver should fix this as well when we release it.
