The pictures are way too small for viewing. They do not super size!

Angel...you see where it says "condition-Great". It is. If you need to see what an F5 looks like up close, please visit your local camera shop. This is a steal if you want an F5. Manuals incluced. Shipping and insurance extra.

Uh NO Larry! I Don't need to see what an F-F looks like Up Close! I've worked with plenty! I need to see this one up close barring actually handling this one in person. I don't see why you can't post larger images of it. Hiding something. Good luck selling with an attitude like that. Great sales man!

If you are looking for a professional film body at a steal price, this is it. I can't speak to the image size, ask Drew. Ebay has had no problem. Caps, neckstrap and manuals included. I'll give the buyer a 15 day return period. Great camera gathering dust. If you need one, here it is.

Isn't it a sad state of affairs when a beautiful classic camera body like the Nikon F5 is worth peanuts!?
I've got one too gathering dust which is mint condition. Maybe if we keep them a few more years they'll be collectors items and worth much more ;-)

I've got three Nikon bodies...F3, F4 and this F5. I think the best idea is to simply encase them each in a block of resin and use them for door stops.
I thought I might keep the F5 and one lens for film...a year later, never touch it. My film is out of date anyway.
I also have a beautiful Nikonos V with dual strobes and a 15mm lens...useless.

I think your doorstop idea's a good one! You could also turn it into an ergonomic titanium sledge hammer as they're built like brick houses :-)

I just sold a really clean F5 on ebay — only brought $422, but I haven't used it at all for over 7 years. I also finally bit the bullet and sold my Hassy equip on ebay, the 503CW with 80mm & A12 brought just over $1,000, the 40mm lens also brought $1,000, the Winder or the 503CW brought nearly $600. I was really surprised to get no bids at all on a really clean 150f4 T* black lens, I put an opening bid of $300 on it — no bids at all!
Still, I haven't used the Hassy stuff for 10 years. I would rather have another D2X, or some usefull lens.

I shoot a D200, but I just purchased an F5 and a 501cm... both of which I shoot just as much as my D200. I love film! Well... slides... okay, I love slides! What can I say?

I have to say, no doubt more and more people are switching to all digital workflows, but classic fine film based photography is not going away any time soon. The fine art market is heavily weighted to film and silver based prints. When a major castrophy hits and the electricity goes out...it'll be film photos that make the statement. The value of film cameras has plummeted obviously, but I'm keeping a couple around to CMA.
The rechargable battery on my Skil power drill just died and is useless. What's the feeling when my digital camera refuses to startup or simply goes blank in mid-shoot? AA's are cheap and plentiful.
