Batch Watermarking in Lightroom

I am looking for a quick and easy method to place a consistent, scaled watermark on both landscape and portrait images of varying aspect ratios and resolutions when exporting from Lightroom. Does anyone have experience using the Mogrify plug-in in Lightroom to batch watermark images? Or any other method without having to go through Photoshop?

I have no useful information for you, but you have my sympathies. That which Lightroom does on the surface, it generally does quite well. Beyond that there be dragons. As I write this, I'm up to my earlobes in Lua and templates in an attempt to assemble a Lightroom web gallery engine that actually does what I want it to do.
