Beta testing for Adobe

There is no free lunch with beta testing Adobe products. The pre-release versions expire and cease to function when final versions are released.
Adobe Labs offers beta testing for some but not all of it's products. It is a voluntary (no pay) program to work out program bugs that are reported through their forum.

They were especially generous with LightRoom. I was on the Beta testers list, and got the first version free, which I'm still using. Version 2 requires me to pay for the upgrade. Maybe one day....
