| Render Lighting Effects Filter Crashing PS CS4 on only Mac Pro Towers...8 Cores!!!
I am bringing this to anyone's attention running either CS3 or CS4 on an 8 core tower. I would like to hear what others are running into when trying to run the render lighting effects filter with CS4 mainly on an 8 core Mac Pro. I was the first to bring it to both Apple and Adobe engineers and now the big dogs are finally chiming in and it is a documented issue working to be resolved. The more people experiencing this problem and saying something will hopefully let Adobe know something has to be done. Even if you are not using this filter all the time or ever...you should still be able to if wanting or needing it. Please read this post on Adobe's forum to be brought up to date. Thanks.
