Best software for slideshows on Youtube?

What's the best software for slide shows on YouTube? I've tried Pictures To Exe. The slide show converted to MP4 looks great running from my hard drive but the conversion that YouTube makes looks horrible. Are there other programs that fair better when the show is converted to YouTube?
