I found this quote from CS4 user Philip Weber on Luminous Landscape:
"The CS4 installation is easy though. They are both installed simultaneously with one activation. You end up with two PS icons, a regular one and one that has (64-bit) at the end. That part, at least, is easy."

Well, it's ordered and downloading as I write this. 815 megabytes! Had a bit of trouble getting the download started; apparently Adobe now requires the Acamai download manager, and it was running afoul with my security settings.

Not surprisingly, I never found a working promo code for a discount.

Notably there's no tax for an online download purchase. I purchased the upgrade for CS4 standard (up from CS3 et. al.) for $199 even.
