Anyone installed Leopard yet?

Have the disc but waiting to see the results from testers.

CS3 and Capture One Pro compatibility?

Thanks!

Re: Anyone installed Leopard yet?

Have it, loaded it, no problems with it at all.

Using Lightroom though, and an older version of PS.

There have been reports of people getting stuck at a blue screen after update if they have something called APE (Application Enhancer Bundle) installed. There is information on how to resolve that on the apple.com forums.

Re: Anyone installed Leopard yet?

Installed it on my laptop. No big problems so far after two days of use. Don't think I've launched PS. Excel wouldn't launch for a while. More info is here:

Re: Anyone installed Leopard yet?

Hi all

Only two "photo" applications I hade trouble with was the CaptureOne 3.7.7 installer, e.g. the application won´t install but once there - copied from another installation or if you used "archive and install when upgrading - it works like it used to in Tiger.

The other one was the driver for the Wacom Intuos III table, but Wacom already supplies a new driver that works well at their website.

Re: Anyone installed Leopard yet?

I archived and installed and it all went smoothly. PS CS3 seems to be fine. The only minor hassle was putting in user names and serials on Apple Pro software (Aperture and FInal Cut Pro) but apart from that, all seems well!

Re: Anyone installed Leopard yet?

My system is working fine with Leopard. From my experience and what I have read, The best option is to upgrade rather than archive and install, or clean install. It seems to produce the most stable system with less hassle. I did not need to re-enter any serial numbers or user names.

Some favored disk utilities like TechTool Pro will not work with Leopard. Diskwarrior can not be run from Leopard, but can be run from the bootable DVD. The Diskwarrior website warns not to use any third party disk utility to repair permissions at this time, as they are not compatible.
