I had problems with some plugins and automation, I solved them by renaming the CS2 folder. Uninstalling both and installing only one clean version may help.

Re: CS3 Problem????

I have 8 different versions of Photoshop installed (between the last 4 versions of Elements and PS6, CS, CS2, and CS3). No problems from that.
