Tip for using CS2 only plug-ins on Intel Macs

Some of favorite plug-ins are not yet compatible with Intel macs and CS3. They can only run in CS2 or CS3 under Rosetta, but it is a royal pain restarting Photoshop in Rosetta to deal with one image in the middle of an edditing session. And running in Rosetta all the time loses the speed benefit of CS3.

What I am now doing in a heavy editting session is:-

Launch CS2 (leave running)
Launch CS3 (must be launched after CS2 for both to run in parallel)
Use Bridge to select pics for edit in CS3 as usual, but when I come across one which needs an old plug-in, right click on the thumbnail and select open in CS2.

Nothing clever or original about it but discovering this method it has made life easier for me.

I am really surprised how slow some of the plug-in makers are being to upgrade. The old ones I use most are Focus Magic and Squeeze.
