colored tag on image and one request

Hello,

When I make a selection of my pictures I tag the one I want to edit in Photoshop with a color. The file is usually save in Tiff and when i resave it in Photoshop when i come back to PM the colored tag is gone.
Is this correct or am I doing something wrong ?

I would also be gald if one feature could be added :

I would be happy if any kind of sign could come under a thumbnail when the IPTC fileds are filled.

Thanks in advance

Denis

You're not doing anything wrong. Photoshop is wiping out our data. We are working on an XMP solution (not sure when it will make it in though.)

I would be happy if any kind of sign could come under a thumbnail when the IPTC fileds are filled.

Which fields? There are quite a few of them. Also, I don't want to add anything that would slow down PM. We could add a command that would select all images that have missing fields, where you would get to indicate the fields that you're interested in. Maybe that would be useful?

Thanks for the answer on the first question.

I proceed as follow :

I ingest my pictures in an upload folder, then i select a few files to be edited in Photoshop and save them in a "ready to send" folder.
Then I use the IPTC Statio. Pad to add the required IPTC fields (Caption, place, date , photographer etc.) for my client and when I go back to the thumbnails page I would like to have some kind of display for pictures that had the ITPC fields changed, like the "i" button that stays green on the thumbnails page. Almost like a color tag, but for the IPTC.

I hope I have been clearer !

The same kind of feature for a picture that has been succesfully sent by FTP would be also great.

I work often with my laptop next to me during soccer or other sport and don't bring the FTP page to the front.

Cheers
