B and W negs how to clean them or their images?

ive posted this before. I really am asking not how to wash them
again... I am wondering why Nikon or other scanning company hasnt
made something as revolutionary as ICE 4 which i find is the greatest
invention since sex. My scanned B and w negs are to say it frankly
loaded with scratches and dust. ICE would take this right away. Using photoshop
hours!!! Is there any manufacturer that has something like ICE4 for B and W?
what a lousy deal having color negs clean and B and W incredibly hard to clean.

Cant you scan the BW as Colour neg? Then in photoshop convert them to Grayscale. I was under the impression that you should always scan BW as colour anyway.

scanning them has nothing to do with this dilemma
b and white cannot be used with Digital ice
it ruins them!

a great tragedy noone seems to have any thing to say about

???????????????????????????????????

This topic has been covered in the "Film Scanning" section. Many had lots to say about it.
