PM Email and Outlook

After seeing the topic about PM and email, I was wondering:

Is there anyway to tell Outlook that PM always has permission to send email? I always get the security prompt from Outlook saying a program is trying to access Outlook and how long do I want to grant it access for.

I'd prefer to just always let PM send email through Outlook and avoid the prompt altogether.

Thanks for any info....

-Anthony

Yes, but it opens up your computer to being a virus-spreading-machine. Unfortunately there appears to be no way to specifically give your "blessing" to a particular app. It is all or nothing.

To change this setting, open Outlook Express. Then from the Tools menu choose Options... Click on the Security tab. Un-check the box that says "Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me."

You will no longer be warned and PM will be able to send without prompting you. But so will a virus program.

We do not recommend it.

HTH,

-Kirk
