Photoshop Droplets???? in PM???

First I will say that I did a site search and a google search
Second I will say that if this is not the proper forum and photoshop forum is more fitting, please feel free to move this.

What is a Photoshop Droplet and what is the benifit of the new feature in photomechanic? How would I use it?

Thanks

Re: Photoshop Droplets???? in PM???

Hi,

A Photoshop droplet is basically a Photoshop action that is saved as a droplet. For example, I have a droplet/action which rotates the image 90 degrees CCW, fits on screen, then opens the levels dialog (after adjusting the levels) I then click on OK and the file is saved to another folder.

In Photo Mechanic, I can select my images then choose the Photoshop droplet in the Image>Send Photos to Droplet menu and each of the selected images are opened in Photoshop and the action from the droplet is applied.

Hope this helps,

Paul
