Publish & Sell photos on the web, workflow/softwar

Folks,

i am looking into selling photos online. So i am looking for your recommendations re the right publishing software. ideally the workflow does not contain a lot of manual steps, the software should do the majority:

- download photos from Canon 1ds
- tag photos with right metadata IPTC (obviously i would do that...but need a tool that helps)
- copy folders to a folder on my local web host or folder
- websoftware that picks up the images plus the IPTC data and publishes them online

can you help me? if there is not one software package out there i would also use more if it makes sense,

thanks for your support!
Mark

I have just put up Dart Photos using Peter Berger's Peter Berger's EOS Templates with Breezebrowser.
Highly recomended with a great online support community.
Cheers,
John

I'm confused as to how many programs you need to own. You need a program like Breezebrowser then load the eos template, correct? What sort of program do you need to use to upload to the web? My site is published using Frontpage 2003. Do you need to use another program such as PS or something?

Here's the way it works for me. I use Downloader Pro to take the image files from the card to my PC.

I use BreezeBrowserPro to separate the good (photographically) from the bad and then to select the gooc (subject-wise) that I want to edit.

At that point I use C1Pro to convert from RAW but BBP also does conversion.

Then I edit in Photoshop CS.

Then I go back to BBP and use the HTML generator to make my webpage.

Finally I FTP my galleries to my website. I usually need to add a link to the site's front page but not for private galleries.

That's a very basic look at my workflow; you can get an idea what you'd need. Other tools for photo editing, etc. are fine. Those are mine.

Sam
