Best way to retouch the skin??? Help !

Hi,
does anybody know which is the best (quality) way to retouch the skin? With PS CS or Neat Image using masks and layers ??? Thanks in advance!

It depends on what you need to do. I use PS. I am looking at a set of actions by Craig Minielly.

That's an interesting link. I'm checking it out. So far, I think I like the un-retouched images in their samples better but I'll continue to research it. These also seem pretty pricey. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I wish Fred had an action for that; so far his actions and my workflow get along very well.

Anyway, I'm hoping for some lively response to the original post - it's always an issue for me and I've never solved it to my satisfaction.

IMO the PhotoKit SHARPENER plug-in provides the best tools for retouching the skin.

To further my "research" [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I've ordered the sampler and really look forward to working with a new provider.

My budget shudders when I do these things.
