Actions or should that be non-actions

Help

I must be having a bad day (or week) I am trying to set some actions up in PS6,having read all the Help files I still must be missing something.

After runing the action to record it I then turn the record off, but when I go to automate and then try to run the action ( ie alter levels in batch ) it just runs though the whole batch without stopping at each one for me to alter, am I missing somthing.

Yes you are.

Next the the check box on each of your action steps is a dialoge box. Toggle it off/on to have the action stop and wait for input.

The box (next to the check mark) needs to be showing for the action to stop. So I think that it should be "on", rather than "off".

Right....?
