Hi Walter,
Music photography is my first love in the field. I do as much of it as I can, although I can safely say I'll never make a living from it - the rewards are nice but they aren't always monetary. I was at the Kix show you photographed in October and remember wishing I'd had my gear - the lighting there is incredible (as is the sound!) and that can make or break a concert. I shoot Nikon and before going digital I couldn't get enough of Fuji NHG-II (and have a pile still left in the veggie drawer of the fridge to prove it.) I have worked with mainly local acts, but occasionally have worked with National acts, although they are in the progressive rock genre and thus not terribly well known outside a certain crowd. My fave job was a concert tour in Germany where my images ended up on the CD and DVD cover for the SF Bay-area band Enchant (
ENCHANT - The Oasis - The Official Web Site). Weddings pay for new gear, but there's nothing like a guy tearing up a guitar on a lighted stage --- it truly approaches the unreal!

I'd leave a link to my website but it isn't working right now...details! Nice work, by the way!
