Apple to ship 12-core Mac Pro in August

For the Mac-based photographer wanting the highest performance possible in their computer, Apple will next month begin shipping a Mac Pro desktop with up to 12 cores of Intel Xeon processing power, as well as a revamped line of four and eight core models. The new Mac Pro features a more powerful standard graphics card, the ATI 5770, plus the option of ordering the machine with up to four 512GB SSD drives and up to 32GB of RAM.
