And here is the best of the latest images (camera was set at 125, f/8).
I've also attached a shot of my setup:
- Main Light (image left): f/5.6
- Fill (image center): f/2.8
- Background: f/16
I cranked up the background because I wanted to try and emulate the shot that is on the cover of the latest
Rocky Mountain School of Photography Catalog (with the daisy in the glass). I liked the look of the glass and how it kind of disappeared into the background. I know the throat of my vase was too narrow to completely get this effect. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
