FYI, I did use the perspective tool in my rework. Doesn't look unnatural. The trick is not to overdo it.

You got it. The key to almost all successful editing is not to overdo things, but to reduce the problems subtly to just below what I call the "distraction threshold". This is also especially true with noise reduction (though clearly that's not a factor with this image).

John had said something like "I see you corrected most but not all the perspective, which made the change not noticeable".
