Voting is Now Open for the October 2008 Photo Contest

The Theme for the October 2008 Photo Contest is "Food".

Images must be submitted by October 14, 2008 @ 6:00PM (GMT -4).

The winner receives his/her choice of The COLORRIGHT white balance tool, a Lifetime Membership or 1000 Reputation Points.

Please just upload photos with any personal comments to the gallery. Please do not reply with comments on the images until the contest is closed.

All registered full members may participate.

After submissions are complete, a poll will be added to the thread. All members may vote for their favorite image. Voting will stay open for 1 WEEK.

Please only post one image per contest per month. Existing winners may continue to post each month. In the event of a tie there will be a runoff vote to determine the winner.

Images may include Photoshop work.

For jpeg attachments max size is approximately 200k. Max Width and Height are 800 pixels. However, I do believe it will resize the image automatically if it falls outside of the width and height range.

Here's an image from a menu shoot a couple years ago using a D100 @ f5.6 and 135mm.
This was shot in the dining room of the restaurant during a Saturday lunch hour with my good buddy Karl Rouwhorst and the owner of the restaurant. We all served as stylists and shot about a dish every 15 minutes.
