May 2008 photo contest

I posted some images and it had a selection to post them for May's photography contest. Yet, looking here I don't see anything about that. I also see a couple of months that were skipped. Is this correct?

What do I need to do to find out about upcoming contests?

Images posted in the member's photo section are not automatically entered in the monthly photo contest. You may have seen a section from last year's contest. Entries for the monthly photo contest must be posted to this thread and can be linked to photos posted in the members photo section, or uploaded directly.

The deadline for the April Photo contest has past and we are now in the voting stage. You are encouraged to participate and vote in this month's competition. We look forward to your participation next month as well.

Please look for an announcement the first week of May for next month's contest. The rules and categories can be found in this thread.
