I mentioned a theme thinking it would be in addition to a general category.
The theme could be something as general as the color green, or the shape of a circle. I am not a wedding/portrait photographer and always felt that category left out quite a few people.
Theme based contests tend to spark creativity and get people to actually go out and take new pictures, rather than rely on old stock.
