Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n Viewfinder dims

I've noticed recently that the viewfinder on my DCS Pro SLR/n appears 'dim' on one or two exposures, then appears bright again.
I've replaced the CR 2032 battery, but that's made no difference.
Can anyone explain what's causing this??

Re: Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n Viewfinder dims

I sometimes get this although for some reason not recently. It would happen after taking shots in succession. I believe it's the DOF preview (mode) . If you press the button on the front of the body, it should reset it.

Re: Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n Viewfinder dims

Thanks for that. I've tried it, and for a couple more shots it works, and then the problem reoccurs. Any more suggestions???

Re: Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n Viewfinder dims

I've narrowed it down in my case to a few older AI/AIS lenses. When using the newer auto focus lenses it does not occur. However, using those same AI/AIS lenses on a D200, I do not experience that problem so I'm not certain it's the lenses.
