Fuji S5 users, info needed

My 4 Nikon D200 bodies are now almost a year old, meaning they have had a hell of alot of use and it's time for them to go!

I am giving serious thought to replacing them with Fuji S5's, most of the answers to any questions I had I have been able to find.

apart from these two:

can I use my Nikon MB-D200 battery grips with the Fuji?
can I use my Nikon EN-EL3 batteries?

I'm not too bothered about the batteries as I should buy new ones anyway

but, and this is a big but, if I can't use my battery grips then there is no way I will buy them

Thanks in advance

Dave

Hey,
Unfortunately, the S5 will not work with any other battery other than the proprietary battery made by Fuji. As for the MB-D200, it will work with the S5, but you will have to use the Fuji battery in it and I do believe you will be able to use the grip with NiMH.

thanks for the quick reply

just to confirm, you say I can use my MB-D200 grips on an S5 but only with the Fuji batteries?

If so then great, my account manager at my local Callumet will like me when I call him to order four S5's on Monday
