Very interested in hearing comments about this camera. The technology of having R G B information on separate layers of the sensor appears to be a true "breakthrough" rather than a refinement of existing technology.
Any Sigma 14 users who can share their experiences? And perhaps some images? Thanks. AK

Someone had a review on this and the Fuji S5 and they werent to impressed
but I cant find the article, seems like it was Luminous Landscape but not sure if I find it I will give the link
Check out the Sigma Talk forum on DPReview.com. While there are a few folks who are unhappy with the SD14, there are plenty that seem to be thrilled with it.
I had the original sigma for a while and while the files were very nice and sharp ... I found out that with a bit of work in post processing the differences disappeared as compared to the look of other makes. I also learned that for me .. I could not feel good about the way the camera controls handled and so I sold the kit. I like the concept of the foveon sensor and hope they make it successful but I think there would be more value added if they went the Kodak route and made a model in Nikon and Canon mount.
But so while I've been burned once ... I too would like to hear input on this new version of the model.

Some models ago it was reported that the dynamic range was lacking, and in fact the then new Sigma SD model camera didn't handle even borderline overexposure well at all. I rembember seeing some pretty awful examples of burned out traffic lights and such over on DPReview. I wonder if that's changed.
