Re: Are there any posts on the Fuji S5?

Hey,
It's really that good huh! Well, I might have to get my hands on one just for a test run and decision making too. Thanks again for your thoughts. If you don't mind, Joe, would you be willing to send me a file to take a look at over the net. Send to my email if that's ok with you.

Re: Are there any posts on the Fuji S5?

I've been shooting with the Fuji S3 for a couple of years, and just picked up my S5 last week.

The S3 now has over 15,000 clicks, and has been flawless.

I've just had my S5 a little under a week, but am very impressed with it. The only downside is, Photoshop does not recognize the RAW files from the S5 yet. I'm hoping they (Adobe) will correct that soon.

The S5 with the Nikon iTTL system is fantastic!

You can update your Photoshop and the new Fuji raw driver will be installed. I use CS2 and when I updated the software, I now have the ability to convert the new RAF files. Also there is an firmware update for the camera on Fuji's website. This is supposed to update some of the white balance settings.

Re: Are there any posts on the Fuji S5?

Hey Joe,
Thanks for the pictures this morning. The quality of the images are pretty close to the look of film. That is exactly what I was looking for. Could be pretty easy for me to make up my mind now. Also, do you only shoot Fuji DSLR now, or are you still shooting film (BW), for somethings?
