Hello:

I ground off the first or second layer of the rotating lock push switch. The push lever is a stairstepped button and by layers, I mean steps on the button. Just do it slowly, carefully and allow the dust to fall away from the lens. It functions well and just barely clears the camera's rubber on the outside base.
