The new Sony DSLR

Does anybody know if the Sony Alpha DSLR based on the Konica-Minolta Maxxum 5D will be compatible with either the Sigma or Tamron 28-300mm lenses? If so, and they could allow the Antishake mechanism to function, these would be great walkaround lenses for the camera.

According to the information I've seen they will retain the same mount so yes - anything that worked on the older Minoltas should fit the new Sony.

It also appears that Sony is creating their own 18-200mm lens.

More importantly Sony has Zeiss lenses in their lineup. Should Sony decide to make professional DSLRs, Zeiss glass will undoubtedly bring Pro's to their camp.
