Kodak pro back H AA over IR

Im looking at a used 645H back for a H1, it comes with the IR filter my question is What does the AA filter do and how important is it?. I know its called an Anti Aliasing filter and think that it helps control Moire and mayby some othere problems. But having never used one Im not sure how importantr it is

Others on this forum, in the past, have said that the AA filter just softens the image slightly as a way of stopping moire. In my opinion, if you don't have to deal with shooting things prone to moire, I wouldn't use it. In my photos that had it, I used either Photo Desk's adjustments or eliminated it in Photoshop after converting.

I'd rather have a slightly sharper image and deal with moire as it presents itself.
