Camera Manager performance.

I use a 1.5Ghz PowerBook, 1Gb Ram with Camera Manager. Will the performance of Camera Manager and Photo Desk be improved with 2 Gb Ram?

Re: Camera Manager performance.

I went from a 1.3GHZ 17" with 1GB RAM to a 1.67GHZ model with 1.5GB of RAM and noticed little if any difference.

Re: Camera Manager performance.

I am running 1.67 Ghz Power Book with 2Mb Ram and whilst I have not done a direct comparison there definately seems to be an improvement in the time taken to download and open directly into PhotoDesk. I can certainly shoot more rapidly without the system locking up so my feeling is that there are distinct benefits to be gained from the upgrade.

Re: Camera Manager performance.

Like Bob I had a Dell 9100 with one Gig of Ram and bought a new Dell with 2 Gig RAM and a faster processor. I see no speed difference with Camera Manager or Photodesk.
