Re: Global campaign with dinosaur camera.....

Oh Heck! I just used arc lights. Once you figure out how to strike em they are nice and bright. I've got even older cameras than the 760 but they use film and I'm not sure that's made any more.

Re: Global campaign with dinosaur camera.....

Earlier today at the camera store I heard that the $4/roll 120 film we used to use is now $8/roll.

It's almost like gasoline!

One of my 760's died permanently last week. Boo hoo. The other is still fine and so is the SLR/n, but I sure do love the 760.

I haven't figured out what to replace them with now that the Great Yellow Father has left the pro camera world. I'm playing with a 20D and a D100 to see how those cameras do on raw. So far, nothing compares to Kodak's Photodesk.

BTW...the one 760 that died...I removed all the inside circuit boards...I still need to cut away the mirror box with a saber saw or hack saw, fill the body with a mixture of peat moss and topsoil...then I'll have the worlds most expensive geranium planter. :-)
