Thinking about getting this - Will this lens work on my 14N?

Does anyone have an idea if it will work or not. I didnt see it in either list from Kodak. (lens' that are compatable nor lens' that are not compatable.)

The current version of the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR lens will work on the Pro 14n, 14nx, and SLR/n. The camera must have up-to-date firmware.

Lots of people use the 70-200VR on the Kodak DSLRs without any problem. However, a few people have reported that the VR does not work, and it seems to be fairly common for the lens to be soft on one edge or the other when used on a full-frame camera. So it would be prudent to test the lens before buying or during the period after buying in which your dealer allows exchanges.

I was planning to buy that lens as well. I saw other people talking about great sharpness on the center, bad, bad on the edges with the FF sensor. I tested one, I love it and worked fine (VR and all) but edges were VERY soft indeed. I would buy it anyway but for $1500 I want a lens that it is sharp on the entire photo.
