Just used that very lens a few days ago on a DCS 760, the results were very very good. From the 7th floor I got very fine detail on subjects over Half a mile away. the Weather was bright and clear with minnor haze considering the time of year. The shots were of a large Multi-cultural event with bright colored tents. The covrering over the window I photographed through has a UV coating which increases the staruation levels. Other than that I am very happy with the lens.
