S3 USB port

HI, Has anyone had a problem with the Fuji S3's USB port coming loose from the circuit board? We purchased the S3 about 2 months ago. One day I was going to download direct from the camera. I found that the usb port had fallen off the circuit broad and was inside the camera. The camera was then sent to Fuji, they say it was blunt force and not a manufacturing defect and was not under warranty. What do I do now?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've not had the unfortunate experience, but I've read several posts from others who have. They've also received the same response from Fuji. It sounds like it's more than just a rare occurrence, I'd push it with them.
