Photo Desk Question

Is there a way when shooting tethered and looking at images in Photodesk, contact sheet to have the close up tool default to say 25%. Every time I want to look at a photo I shot blown up the program defaults to 100% and then I have to click on 25% and wait and wait and wait... you get the picture. It would be great if this can be a preference thing. My client today went nuts continually clicking to reduce the size so he could see the face and some of the clothes. Thanks, Oh by the way shooting 14n and loving every minute of it. What great Model shots today, and boy are they sharp.

Re: Photo Desk Question

why make a closeup to see the whole picture? why don't make a preview (dble click on it) , you have the choise faster (you can see immediatly your picture) or better(it's take a little bit time)...I think it's the good way for what you want?

Re: Photo Desk Question

- Make sure you use "Faster" in the view menu in Photo Desk.
- In Camera Manager on the Capture Session tab, check the "Open Images in DCS Photo Desk" checkbox. Now each shot will open in a "Faster" mode preview window in Photo Desk.

You'll need to close some windows as you go, as they will pile up and at some point start to bog your computer.

Re: Photo Desk Question

here goes,
I start with camera manager and open photodesk, snap one shot to look at the output histogram from photodesk and make sure the exposer look good, once the exposure is set then then uncheck the open with image in the cature session and just use the camer manager "capture review" it much faster about 7 sec, you will see one image at a time, when done the session open the photodesk from the camera manger highlite all the image that you think there are good then tag them, then preview with the client using the preview selection ....
simple work flow
Norm
