14n and not powering down

Today after shooting, I turned the power off and everything stayed on. I turned on, off again and the LCD displayed the last image shot, however the aperture and shutter display turned off. Should I be concerned or do I have something set wrong?

Was the camera connected to your computer? If so, the processor in the camera stays powered until you unplug it.

I've had that happen when the battery got too low to release the shutter. I put in a fresh battery and tried various things until it started working again. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it was that got it working again. Maybe reinstalling the firmware?

Re: 14n and not powering down

I tried tethered to the computer, however the camera was never recognized. I was printing proofs at the same time? I was using battery power, then I went outside for some additional bridal shots, it was when I was riding back I noticed the image on the LCD, the battery was low? I'll install a fresh battery and try again tonight, with all the different things I did during the session, I thought that trying to thether to the computer might have done something?

If it\'s still writing to the CF card

It doesn't power down - this happens to me occasionally.

Could this be it?
