Lexar 160 troubles

Is there any way, other than the recover program on the camera, to recover images from a card? Folder 1 says there are 0 items but there is only 44 mb left on the card, so the files are there, I just can't get at them.

Oh,dear,we had the same trouble not long ago. We managed to recover the pictures via Norton Disc Doctor on a PC! It has to be a PC.
Are you running 5.9 and 3.014?
Rob told us if Norton failed the last solution was a program called Lost and Found on a PC.

Re: Lexar 160 troubles

Lost and Found is a wonderful program...it recovered files on a disk that the mac, a pc, and the camera all said was unreadable and needed formatting. HOWEVER...it is a pain to use. It has to be run on a PC, but from DOS on a floppy. The rub is if you have a scsi card reader, it has to be visible to the PC from DOS. You have to have the appropriate DOS drivers loaded for the scsi card. In my setup, that was a royal pain. If you can get past that, Lost and Found can recover files that nothing else will, including Norton. It's from www.powerquest.com and a demo will tell you if it can recover the files prior to putchase.
